KTF Highlights Expanding Opportunities for Korea–Texas Economic Collaboration

KoreaTexas Forum (KTF) was recently featured in Maeil Business Newspaper in an article highlighting the growing opportunities for Korean companies across Texas and KTF’s role in strengthening economic ties between Korea and the state.

The article features KTF Representative Ji Eun-hyun discussing the breadth of opportunities available to Korean companies considering expansion into the U.S. market. While semiconductor investment has helped strengthen economic connections between Korea and Texas, the opportunities extend across a much broader range of industries, including aerospace and defense, energy, biotechnology, advanced manufacturing and other emerging sectors.

Texas continues to attract international investment through its diverse industry base, infrastructure, workforce, business environment and access to major U.S. customers. KTF works to connect Korean companies with Texas communities and economic development partners while helping companies navigate site selection, incentives, permitting, workforce needs and other considerations associated with establishing U.S. operations.

The feature also comes as KoreaTexas Forum prepares to lead its first economic mission to Korea, October 12–16, bringing Texas economic development leaders together with Korean companies actively exploring investment and expansion opportunities.

The mission reflects KTF’s broader goal: creating meaningful, long-term connections that translate Korea–Texas relationships into real business investment, partnerships and economic growth.
