KTF joins global battery industry leaders at one of the sector’s premier international business platforms.

KoreaTexas Forum is attending INTERBATTERY 2026 in Seoul, South Korea, where global companies, researchers, and industry leaders are gathering to explore the technologies, trends, and partnerships shaping the future of the battery sector. According to the official event site, INTER BATTERY 2026 is taking place March 11 to 13, 2026, at COEX in Seoul.

This year’s event is being held at significant scale. Korea’s Ministry of Trade, Industry and Resources said 667 companies from Korea and abroad are participating across the battery value chain, with representation from 14 countries, reinforcing the event’s role as a global platform for cooperation and exchange.

For KoreaTexas Forum, participation in INTERBATTERY aligns directly with its mission to strengthen strategic connections between Korean industry and Texas communities. Events like this provide valuable opportunities to engage in meetings and conversations with companies and stakeholders, better understand emerging industry priorities, and support long term dialogue around investment, manufacturing, innovation, and regional partnership.

As EC Chi, CEO / President, noted, “INTERBATTERY 2026 has provided an important opportunity for KTF to engage directly with industry leaders and participate in meaningful meetings and conversations across the battery sector. The event continues to highlight how important strong Korea Texas relationships will be as companies evaluate future opportunities in innovation, advanced manufacturing, and investment.”

The exhibition also offers valuable insight into where the industry is heading, from energy storage systems to next generation battery technologies and broader supply chain development. Korean government and media coverage around the event have pointed to growing attention on areas such as ESS, all solid state batteries, sodium batteries, silicon anode materials, and battery safety technologies.

KTF’s presence at INTERBATTERY reflects its continued commitment to building informed, practical connections between Korea and Texas. By participating in major industry events and engaging directly with leaders in the field, KoreaTexas Forum helps create the relationships and understanding that can support future collaboration across business, community, and economic development efforts.
